We are looking for an Air Source Heat Pump Technician!
💰 Salary: £45,000 to £70,000 annually (Salary dependent on employment preference)
🧑🔧 Employment Status: Employed or Self-Employed
📍 Location: Wales & South-West England (Stay away required up to 3 nights a week)
🕰 Hours of work: Monday to Friday
🚘 Transport: Van & Fuel Card provided (Employed)
Own Van required & £100 a week fuel allowance (Self-Employed)
🏠 Accommodation: Arranged & Paid
About this role:
As an Air Source Heat Pump Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of service within our multi-award-winning Heating department. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, you will ensure the maintenance team meets key performance indicators while providing expert technical support and coaching.
Your responsibilities will include wiring and commissioning ASHP and hybrid installations, assisting new installation teams, and troubleshooting heating-related issues. You will liaise with heating technicians to address technical challenges, implement solutions, and improve operational processes.
Additionally, you will provide on-site coaching to engineers and installation teams, enhancing their skills and knowledge. You will also support CES (Customer Experience & Support) by resolving customer complaints, queries, and billing concerns, ensuring a seamless service experience.
Maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, you will stay up to date with the latest product knowledge and attend manufacturer training as needed to enhance expertise.
This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with a passion for mentoring, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional service in the heating industry.

- Liaise with other technicians to implement and improve processes
- Site visits and sign-offs
- Manufacturer liaison
- Excellent customer service
Required Skill Set:
- 5+ years of experience in heating maintenance
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience servicing and maintaining ASHP systems
- ACS Qualification (Gas Safe registered preferred)
- ASHP certification - BPEC or equivalent
- Unvented hot water systems certification (G3)
- Own tools required for ASHP and general heating system diagnostics, repairs, and breakdowns
