We are looking for a Solar PV Roofing Operations Manager!
💰 Salary: £45,000.00 annually, PLUS quarterly bonus incentives
📍 Location: Llansamlet Head Office and on the road
🕰 Hours of work: Monday to Friday
🚘 Transport: CES van and fuel card provided
🏠 Accommodation: Arranged and paid (occasional stay away, up to 5 nights per month)

To maintain our high standards during this time of rapid growth, we’re seeking a passionate and experienced Solar PV Roofing Operations Manager to lead our operations into the future.
In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee:
- Our dynamic office team.
- Nine expert Solar PV installation teams.
- A dedicated maintenance team ensuring top-notch service.
Your strong background in Solar PV, advanced computer proficiency, and exceptional management skills will make you an invaluable part of our mission.
This is more than a management role—it’s your chance to shape the future. You’ll implement innovative systems, streamline processes, and contribute to the fast-paced growth of the department.
What to expect:
- A flexible hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days on-site.
- Up to 5 overnight stays per month, supporting operations wherever needed. The area of coverage is Wales and South-West England.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, including:
- Installation planning and scheduling.
- Material sourcing and approvals.
- Progress tracking and diary management.
- Maintenance scheduling and payroll coordination.
- Provide regular reports to senior management.
- Manage maintenance costing and budget tracking.
- Ensure continuous quality assurance and approve all materials for use.
- Offer technical support and guidance to installation teams.
- Conduct final inspections and sign-offs on completed works.
- Handle escalated customer complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure site safety compliance for all projects.
Required Skill Set
- Proven knowledge and experience with Solar PV installations.
- Previous experience in a similar leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in IT systems, including reporting and operational tools.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
